Barb Elgin's articles and interviews have appeared in a variety of online and print publications such as Girlfriends Magazine, LesbiaNation, Pride Parenting, Gay Marriage World, The Washington Blade, Baltimore Gay Life, Watermark, Gay Wired, Echelon Magazine, LesbianAlliance.com, More.com, QBliss and The Normal Heart. Barb is currently writing a regular column for Les Connection's e-zine Les Communique.
Barb has spoken to audiences all over the United States, in venues as varied as Lambda Rising Bookstore in Baltimore, Maryland; The Metropolitan Community Church in Ocala, Florida; and The North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Barb served on a successful woman business owner's discussion panel during the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's Annual Conference and she delivered a keynote address to gifted GLBT college students during The Out for Work Conference in Washington D.C at the Human Right's Campaign's national headquarters.
Barb has been a featured guest numerous times on Gay Internet Radio's Lesbian Lounge and recently Barb was interviewed on HRC's XM Satellite Show 'The Agenda'.
